I have seen connections to Google Analytics, Firebase Logger and Flurry Analytics using this tool. The firewall doesnвЂ™t name the application making the connections, but if you start an application and run the firewall along with it, you can see the blocked connections in real time. In testing, I used a firewall app on my iPad to see if the current version of Mylio was transmitting data to the Internet. Mylio does not view your photos, store them or process them using AI or machine learning tools. It then syncs those photos to your phone, tablet, other computers, etc., but it does so across your entire local home network. With either plan, you first import your photos into the Mylio app on your computer. With Premium, you get unlimited photos on unlimited devices.

The limited free plan includes 5,000 photos synced across up to three devices, while the Premium plan costs $9.99/month or $99.99/year. The idea is that you get a lot of cool features from cloud services (synchronization, facial recognition, etc.) just without your photos going anywhere near the cloud. And while preventing illegal activities is a decent cause, preemptively searching the property of unsuspecting and presumed innocent people, just because itвЂ™s possible, is like letting the police come into your home to search whatever they want, just in case, because you know, think of the children. Some of these hosts analyze their images, look for CSAM or other illegal images, and these images are also subject to various court orders. If your photos are stored in the cloud, then Apple or Google or whoever you use has access to them. ItвЂ™s super handy to have all your photos synced to the cloud, but wouldnвЂ™t you prefer a little more privacy?

Mylio Photos allows you to sync your photos on your local network, without any cloud component.

There's a short mention of this in the docs but it doesn't mention why this is happening or how to enable it. Why is this? Is this permanent? Is there a way to enable it? When users click the 'Get the app' button they now see the error below saying the protocol has been disabled. This is a WPF application packaged with 'Windows Application Packaging Project' (wapproj).
